Metal Stampings

For years Matenaer Corporation’s primary focus was on special washers and flat stampings. As our customers’ needs increased, Matenaer Corporation responded by providing solutions to these demands for a wider array of products utilizing high-speed presses for higher volume requirements all the way to a 500-ton press capable of stamping parts up to 1⁄2” thick.

We now provide our customers with stamped products using compound dies, where low tool cost and flatness are critical, the process by which most washers and simple stampings are produced. In other cases we utilize progressive dies. This is the method by which many higher-volume or more intricate, three-dimensional parts are produced. Matenaer has the ability to produce drawn stampings to a 3” depth. Commonly this method is utilized for parts which require deeper, three-dimensional parts are produced.

Matenaer hosts a full tool and die shop. This allows us to produce all of our dies in-house, which is more cost-effective (no overhead or profit of outside tool shop) and results in shorter lead time. In turn, we control timeliness and quality of die production and part production.

Having multiple manufacturing capabilities, prototypes can be laser cut, machined or formed. This flexibility allows for design changes without the high cost of changing tools and dies. Stamping projects can utilize Matenaer’s full range of secondary operations, materials capabilities, and the service for which we are famous. CAD service is available to assist with design changes to parts and components as required.
